Yesterday, on 20th May 2010, Magento released its Professional Edition and placed it right between Magento Community and Magento Enterprise. It starts with $2,995 USD/yr. But this is not the reason why it is in news. The most highlighted feature of this new edition is its revenue generating feature, which is absent in Community Edition.
